In May, we drove a couple hours to Leslie Gulch, Oregon,
which is just over the border of Idaho.
Backpacking wasn't allowed in the area,
so we had to camp at an established site with noisy neighbors.
The drive in was gorgeous...
Dago Gulch
This is the first canyon that we passed by so we stopped and hiked up it.
We found a big sandy hill, and we
all played on it and had a lot of fun.
This is Deanne and Justin sliding on the hill.
On our way back, we walked along a dry creekbed,
and collected lots of rocks
This is me holding my rocks.
Timber Gulch
This is the next canyon we passed,
and it had lots of cool rock formations.
This is us climbing to the top of the rock.
this was fun to climb on
In the cave is Deanne and Erika.
A cool landscape picture taken by my mom.
Juniper Gulch
This is the last one we went to.
Megan , Erika and me hiking on the trail.
near the top
Taking a break for a snack on a rock shaped
like a monster's head.
Watch out Garrett! He's gona eat you!
Deanne was too tired to walk,so she wanted a ride.
And she got her wish.
And another landscape picture taken by my mom.
