We spent a week on a houseboat at Lake Powell in June.
Cass chillin on the top deck.
The first night, we beached in middle rock creek canyon.
The next day, we headed out to West Canyon.
We beached the boat and kayaked to the end.
We walked up the canyon for a short while.
Playing in the mud along the way.
Heading back.
Cooling off in the water.
Doing some cliff jumpin in Face canyon.
Heading back to the houseboat.
Looks like we wore them out!
The next day, we headed up Reflection Canyon.
Hidden passage canyon.
Playing around at the end of Music Temple canyon.
The next day, we loaded up the kayaks and headed out to explore Secret canyon.
We then headed to Twilight canyon.
On the way out, we stopped to climb up to this small arch.
The view from the arch.
Forbidding Canyon.
Garrett's find.
Cascade Canyon
Getting ready to launch the kayaks.
Heading back to the boat.
The next day, we headed to Cathedral Canyon.
Then we explored Driftwood canyon.
Mountain Sheep Canyon
We ran into a boat blocking the way, so we climbed up and
over the boat with our kayaks and continued on our way.
Some of the pools of water were shallow and others were deep.
Cooling off in the water and eating lunch back at the boat.
Wetherill canyon
The next day, we got caught out in the open bay on the houseboat
when a big windstorm came up.
All our kayaks blew away and we had to chase them down.
Then the tow line broke and our boat got away.
We decided to call it quits and head into the dock.
