We went to Moab, Utah for spring break.
Our first stop was Arches National Park.
We hiked the Park Avenue Trail the first morning.
Next, we visited Double Arch, which was a short walk from the parking lot.
Then, we headed to Sand Dune Arch.
The hike to Delicate Arch was a hot one.
and it was very crowded too.
A quick stop to play on the big sand hill on the way back.
The next day, we took a 4 wheel drive tour
of the Needles district of Canyonlands.
Justin & Deanne at Devil's Kitchen.
We stopped to eat lunch and take a short hike.
Deanne lost her breakfast on the car ride and
we didn't bring another change of clothes,
so the smell was pretty strong in the enclosed spaces along the trail.

The next day, we hiked Fisher Towers.
It was a very windy day.
We took a drive up Onion Creek Road.
We explored a side canyon along the way.
We also stopped to hike along the narrows section.
Deanne's legs weren't quite big enough to make jump across the creek.
She ended up getting quite wet.
THe next morning, we hiked to Corona Arch.
After lunch, we headed back to Arches to hike in the Fiery Furnace.
That's Cassie squeezing underneath a big boulder below.
The last day, we went to Canyonlands.
We hiked the Aztec Butte trail.
A view from the top of the butte.
We hiked to Mesa Arch.
We made a quick stop at Dead Horse State Park.
We took the scenic road back to the highway.
It didn't look like we were going to fit under the boulder from far away...
...but there was plenty of room!
Our last stop was to Tusher Tunnel.
